Darrell began working for Spalding Gas when he was just a teenager in the summers. After graduating from Auburn University in 1977 he came back to Spalding Gas and worked with his brother Barry to run Spalding Gas. Darrell became President and CEO of Spalding Gas in 1983.
Darrell and his wife have 6 children; Jessica, Stuart, Rebecca, Ben, Chandler and Alden. Darrell and Lori enjoy travel.
